Configuring Outbound Systems
Note:
Outbound System Configuration is accessible to Tenant Administrators with the org > Admin role granted.Adding Outbound Systems

From the Toolbox menu, select System Setup and then select Outbound System Configuration.

Click New and complete the following:

Context. Select a value from the list.

Select Global when there is a need to define a one-time configuration that can be consumed by all properties of the tenant.

Select Property when there is a need to define a property-specific outbound configurations.

Outbound Type. Select a value from the list.

GAMING_SGACSC: when you want to create an Outbound Code for a Scientific Gaming ACSC Specification Integration configuration.

GAMING_SGCMP: when you want to create an Outbound Code for a Scientific Gaming CMP Specification Integration.
-
GAMING_GENERIC: when you want to an create Outbound Code for a Generic Gaming Integrations.
-
CRM: when you want to create an Outbound Code for CRM Profile Lookup, Loyalty, and Membership system integration configuration.
-
CRM_LEGACY: when you want to create an Outbound code for a legacy CRM system that follows XML Protocol standards.

CRM_IATA: when you want to create an Outbound code for a legacy IATA system integration.

OCUI: when you want to create an Outbound code to invoke any vendor system web applications from the OPERA Cloud UI.

Outbound Code. Enter the unique Outbound Code you want to create in the recommended format, OUTBOUNDTYPE+VENDOR+PROP.

Outbound Description. Enter the External System description.

Protocol. Select a value from the list.

Select REST as it is the only supported protocol.

Enable External System: Select this option to create an External System Code and External Database Code in OPERA, same as Outbound Code.

Enable Conversions: This option is enabled when you select the above option. Select this option to define Data Value Mappings for the specific conversion groups.

When you try to create a Global Level Outbound Code, Enable Conversion is disabled as no versions are allowed at the Global level.

Data Value Mapping conversions can be defined only for Property Level Outbound Codes when this option is selected.

External Property: This field is visible when the above option is selected for defining a Property conversion code.

Auth Type. Select a value from the list.

Basic – when an external system provides only basic authentication details, such as user account and password details.
-
OAUTH – when an external system provides open authorization details, such as OAuth Token URL and credential details.

Grant Type. Select a value from the list.

Password – when an external system provides you with Service Account & Key and Client Id & Key details.

Client Credentials – when an external system provides only the Client Id & Key details.

Scope. Enter the Scope URL provided by External System.

Application Key. Enter the Application Key provided by External System.

Service Details.
Enter details. -
Service Name. Defaulted value RESTAPIBaseURL.

Service Path. Enter the external system's REST APIs base URL. Path should not include any query parameters or path parameters.

Click Save.
Editing Outbound System

From the side menu select Toolbox, select System Setup, and then select Outbound System Configuration.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

Select the Outbound System in search results, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit.

Update the configuration.

Select to make the outbound connection inactive or deselect to activate.

Click Save.
Deleting Outbound System

From the side menu select Toolbox, select System Setup, and then select Outbound System Configuration.

Enter search criteria and click Search.
-
Select the Outbound System in search results, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Delete.

Click Delete to confirm.
Testing Outbound System Connectivity

From the side menu select Toolbox, select System Setup, and then select Outbound System Configuration.

Enter search criteria and click Search.
-
Select the Outbound System in search results, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Test.

Click OK.
