Configuring Job Titles

You can configure job titles for employees at your property for the purpose of associating a specific job to the person.

Adding a Job Title

  1. Select the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property Management, and then select Job Titles.

    Note:

    When the OPERA Multi-property Cross Reservation Cloud Service is active new Job Titles are created by selecting the Template tab. Once created, you can copy Job Titles to specific properties using the using the Copy action. Refer to Copying Configuration Codes to Multiple Properties for more information.

  2. Click New and complete the following fields:

    1. Job Code. Enter a code for the job title (for example, BAN, CM, SET, or GM).

    2. Description. Enter the full name for the job code (for example, Banquet Manager, Catering Manager, Convention Setup Manager, or General Manager).

    3. Manage Translations. Select to translate the description into another language.

  3. Click Save.

Editing a Job Title

  1. Select the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property Management, and then select Job Titles.
  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. In the search results, select the code then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

  4. Update the configuration.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting a Job Title

  1. Select the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property Management, and then select Job Titles.
  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. In the search results, select the code then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
