Assigning Room Conditions

In this video you will learn how to assign conditions to a room. For example,

if you need to schedule a sales tour or maintenance repairs, you can use room

conditions to set aside the room for a special purpose. You can add a condition

to prevent a room from being assigned to a guest. To add a condition to a room,

navigate to OPERA Cloud and go to Inventory. Select Room Management, and then Room

Conditions. You must click the magnifying glass to select a property from the list.

And then click Select. Now click the vertical ellipsis and

select New. Next click the magnifying glass to select the room. Here you can

see the room type, the room number, and a description. Click Select. Then click the

magnifying glass and select the desired condition from the list. If the room

condition type is available then you can assign the room to a reservation and

click select. You can edit the remarks and then click Set Condition.

Now the room is labeled with the condition, and appears in a list below
