Redeeming Promotional e-Certificate
Promotional e-Certificates are available in OPERA Cloud when integrated with Oracle Hospitality OPERA Customer Loyalty Tracking Cloud Service and are used to offer a promotional rate via redemption of an e-Certificate issued to loyalty members.
Promotional e-Certificates are limited to one promotion per reservation. Multiple e-Certificates for the same promotion can be selected for a reservation.
Applying e-Certificates to New Reservation

From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Reservations, and then select Look To Book Sales Screen.

Enter the caller and/or contact information (if applicable) and then click New Reservation.

In the search panel enter the criteria for the reservation

In the Profile options section

Name: Click to search for the guest/member profile by surname.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

Select the profile in the result and click Select.

Membership Number: Click to search for guest/member profile by membership number.

eCertificate: Click to view the list of e-Certificates allocated it to the guest profile.

Select certificate(s) from the Available list and use to move the selected certificate to the Selected panel (for the same promotion).

Click OK.

In the Rate and Room options section.

Promotion: The field will populate with the promotion based on the selected e-Certificates (input disabled).

Click Search.

Select the promotion rate associate with the e-Certificate promotion in the rate grid.

Select the required room type for the reservation.

Click Select.

Note:
The Stay Information panel in Book Now will display the selected e-Certificate number and promotion code.Note:
In OPERA Customer Loyalty Tracking Cloud Service the selected e-Certificate status is updated to Reserved.For more details on Booking a Reservation See Booking a Reservation.
Applying e-Certificates to Existing Reservation

From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Reservations, and then select Manage Reservation.

Enter search criteria, click Search.

Select the reservation in the search result, click I Want to . . . and select Reservation, or click the confirmation number to open Reservation Presentation.

Select Stay Details and then click Edit.

eCertificate: Click to view the list of e-Certificates allocated it to the guest profile.

Select certificate(s) from the Available list and use to move the selected certificate to the Selected panel (for the same promotion).

Click OK.

Rate Code: Select the rate code that is associate with the promotion e-Certificate.

Click Save.
Note:
If the incorrect rate code is selected you will be prompted to launch Look to Book to select the required rate code for promotion.

In OPERA Customer Loyalty Tracking Cloud Service the selected e-Certificate status is updated to Reserved.
