Managing Reservation Prepaid (Gift) Cards

Issuing Reservation Prepaid Card

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Booking, select Reservations, and then select Manage Reservations.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in the results, click I Want To . . ., and select Prepaid Card or open the reservation presentation, and click Prepaid Card details link.

  4. Click Issue Card and complete the following:

    1. Interface: Select the Stored Value System from the list.

    2. Card Number: Enter the gift card number.

    3. Name/First: Default the primary profile linked to the reservation.

    4. PIN: Enter the PIN (Available when the SVS interface is flagged to Show Prepaid Card PIN).

    5. Amount: Enter the issue amount.

    6. Payment Options:

      1. Post to Room: Select the post issue amount to guest folio (reservation account).

      2. Post Payment: Select the post payment.

        1. Method: Select a payment method from the list.

        2. Card Number: Enter credit card number.

        3. Expiration: Enter credit card expiry date.

        4. Card Holder: Enter card holder name.

    7. Click Issue Card.

Managing Reservation Prepaid Card

Prepaid (Gift) Cards are managed for reservations on Arrival, Departure, or In house status. The Manage Prepaid link is not available for reservations in Checked Out status. Prepaid cards for No Show or Canceled reservations are managed via Prepaid Cards.Managing Prepaid (Gift) Cards.

Note:

Card details are fetched from the Stored Value system.

  3. Select the reservation in the results, click I Want To . . . and select Prepaid Card or open the reservation presentation, and click Prepaid Card details link.

  4. Select a card, click the vertical ellipsis, and click Manage.
