OPERA Controls — Activity

The following tables outline the functions, parameters, and settings that can be configured in the OPERA Controls Activity group. You can configure these functions, parameters, and settings only if you have the Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Service, Sales, and Event Management Standard Edition or Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Service, Sales and Event Management Premium Edition subscription.

Table 11-6 OPERA Controls — Activity Functions

PARAMETER	DESCRIPTION
ACTIVITIES ACTIVITIES	Enables the ability to create and manage appointments and to-do tasks. Activities are assigned to users for completion and can be linked to Accounts, Contacts and Blocks. (Enabled on activation of OPERA Cloud Sales & Event Management Essentials, Standard or Premium subscription).
AUTO TRACES [AUTO_TRACES]	Provides the ability to configure Trace Codes and Definitions rules to auto create activities based on specific conditions. Trace codes can be associated to Activities, Accounts, Contacts or Blocks. Trace codes are selected in Activities, Accounts, Contacts or Blocks. (Enabled on activation of OPERA Cloud Sales & Event Management Standard or Premium subscription).

ACTIVITY RESULTS [ACTIVITY_RESULTS]	When active, values can be configured that the user can select from as the resolution when an Activity is completed,.

SETTING	DESCRIPTION
ACTIVITY PURGE DAYS [ACTIVITY_PURGE_DAYS]	This will be used to decide which records will be purged. Activity records with a Completed Date greater than this many days in the past will be purged. We will also purge non Activity records that were created earlier than this many days in the past. If no value is entered, no records in the activity change log will be purged..
DEFAULT DURATION [DEFAULT_DURATION]	The default activity duration (in minutes).
DEFAULT NUMBER OF DAYS TO KEEP TO DO ACTIVITIES ON ACTIVITY DASHBOARD TILE [DAYS_TO_KEEP_TO_DO_ITEMS_ON_CALENDAR]	Default Number of Days To Do's should be shown on Activity Dashboard Tiles.
DEFAULT START TIME [DEFAULT_STARTTIME]	The default start time (HH24:MI) for activity creation.
