Creating Channel Mapping Marketing Text

Property marketing text is used to distribute marketing information to travel agents and other channels. You can create marketing text designed for properties or create a template designed for transaction types.

Adding Marketing Text

1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Channel Property Mapping, and select Marketing Text.

2. Click New.

3. Complete the following fields:

   1. Property. Select a property for this (mandatory field).

   2. Channel. Select the channel name (mandatory field).

   3. Transaction Type. The transaction type that will display the marketing text (mandatory field).

   4. Policy Type. Select the policy type to use for this property. For example, Commission, Cancel Policy, or other.

   5. Policy Detail. The policy type to specify the method for returning the text.

   6. Start Date. The first date the rate code is available in the channel (mandatory field).

   7. End Date. The last date the marketing text is available in the channel.

   8. Marketing Text. Enter the marketing message to appear throughout the channel.

4. Click Save.

Editing Marketing Text

1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Channel Property Mapping, and select Marketing Text.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. From your search results, select the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

4. Update the marketing text.

5. Click Save.

Deleting Marketing Text

1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Channel Property Mapping, and select Marketing Text.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. From your search results, select the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

4. Click Delete to confirm.

Adding Marketing Text Templates

1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Channel Property Mapping, and select Marketing Text.

2. Click the Template tab and click New.

3. Complete the following:

   1. Transaction Type. The transaction type that displays the marketing text (mandatory field).

   2. Policy Type. Select the policy type to use for this property. For example, Commission, Cancel Policy, or other.

   3. Policy Detail. The policy type for specifying the method of returning the text.

   4. Start Date. The first date the rate code is available in the channel (mandatory field).

   5. End Date. The last date the marketing text is available in the channel.

   6. Marketing Text. Enter the marketing message to appear throughout the channel.

4. Click Save.
