In this video, you will learn how to use Post it.

You can use this feature when restocking minibar items in a guest's room or as a Point-of-Sale in the gift shop.

Let's get started.

In OPERA Cloud, I click the quick launch menu and then select post it.

Alternatively, I could go to the financials menu, select cashiering, and then select post it.

I enter my PIN and then select login.

Now, I click the drinks and snack items the guest consumed from the minibar to add the items to the cart.

I click the red x to remove an item.

Next, I click pay.

Now, I can enter the payment information to settle the cart to cash or credit card.

Or I can select the checkbox to "charge to a room".

In this example, I select the check box charge to a room.

Then I enter a room number and click search.

I select the inhouse reservation from the list, and click Complete sales.

Now, a charge for the minibar items is posted to the reservation.
