Configuring Credit Ratings

You can set different levels of credit ratings for Company, Source, and Travel Agent profiles. You can use the credit ratings as criteria when configuring deposit/cancellation rule schedules for reservations and business blocks attached to the profile. This enables both guests and travel agents or bookers who make reservations with the property to have these cancellation and deposit rules applied based on the credit rating indicated on their profile. Adding Credit Ratings

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Profile Management, and then select Credit Ratings.

  2. Click New and complete the following :

    1. Code: Enter a code for the credit rating

    2. Description: Enter a description for the credit rating

    3. Sequence: Enter a number that controls the position of this code in listings. Codes without a sequence number assigned are listed in alphabetical order following codes with a sequence assigned.

  3. Click Save to save and exit or click Save and Continue to save this code and add another.

Editing Credit Ratings

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Profile Management, and then select Credit Ratings.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the code in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu then select Edit.

  4. Update the configuration.

  5. Inactive: Select check box to update the code as inactive.

  6. Click Save.

Deleting Credit Ratings

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Profile Management, and then select Credit Ratings.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the code in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu then select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
