Configuring Daily Plans (Folio Grouping)

Prerequisites for Configuring Daily Plans

Use the Daily Plan folio groups to consolidate charges for selected transaction codes per day.

Two Daily Plan codes are available:

• Lodging: The Lodging code can only include transaction codes that are configured as type Lodging or Package (wrapper).

• Others: The Others code can include all other sales charge transaction codes except Lodging type transaction codes, which cannot be added to the Others code group.

The two folio groups are combined into a single line on the folio as Description (for Lodging) and Description (for Others).

When the Daily Plan (Date) folio style is selected, the transaction codes associated with the Daily Plan folio group codes are consolidated on the folio as follows:

Note: The Others daily plan bucket can be set up without a description and/or without transaction codes. If a description for Others does not exist, then the “and <OTHER>” will not appended after the Lodging daily plan; the folio will simply show the description of the Lodging daily plan.

Editing Daily Plan Folio Group

1. From the Administration menu, select Financials, select Cashiering Management, and then select Daily Plan Codes.

2. Select the daily plan, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit.

3. Enter a Description to appear on the folio.

   1. Click Manage Translation to open the multi-language screen and configure a translated description for each language.

4. In the Available panel, search and select transaction codes and click to move your selected codes to the selected panel

5. Click Save.
