Configuring Currency Exchange Service Taxes

Prerequisites for Configuring Currency Exchange Service Taxes

Exchange Service Taxes are used to generate and post taxes for currency exchange transactions. This feature is used in specific countries only.

Adding Exchange Service Tax Slabs

1. From the Administration menu, select Financials, then Cashier Management then Exchange Service Taxes.

2. Click New and enter the following details:

   1. Amount From: Enter a starting currency amount.

   2. Amount To: Enter a ending currency amount.

   3. Percentage: Enter a tax percentage.

   4. Base Amount: Enter a base amount.

   5. Minimum: Enter a minimum exchange amount.

   6. Maximum: Enter a maximum exchange amount.

3. Click Save.

Note:

You will not be able to configure overlapping amount ranges.

Editing Exchange Service Tax Slabs

1. From the Administration menu, select Financials, then Cashier Management then Exchange Service Taxes.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the exchange service tax then click vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

4. Update the details.

5. Click Save.

Deleting Exchange Service Tax Slabs

1. From the Administration menu, select Financials, then Cashier Management then Exchange Service Taxes.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the exchange service tax then click vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

4. Click Delete to confirm.
