Configuring Rate Code Package Inclusions

Adding Packages to a Rate Code

1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Rate Codes.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. From search results, select the rate code and click vertical ellipsis, select Edit.

4. On the Rate Code presentation page click the Rate Code Packages details link.

5. Click New and complete the following

   1. Enter search criteria and click Search.

   2. Select one or more package items.

   3. Click Attach.

Editing Packages on a Rate Code

1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Rate Codes.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. From search results, select the rate code then click vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select Edit.

4. On the Rate Code presentation page click the Rate Code Packages details link.

   1. Select the package item, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

      1. Begin Sell Date: Enter or select the start date for the rate code package item.

      2. End Sell Date: Enter or select the end date for the rate code package item. 

      3. Description: Enter a description of the package item.

      4. Posting Attributes: See Configuring Package Code Posting Attributes.

   2. Package Pricing Exceptions: Click New and complete the following:

      1. Start Date: Enter or select a start date for the pricing.

      2. End Date: Enter or select an end date for the pricing.

      3. Price: Enter an item price (add to rate or included in rate).

      4. Amount: Enter an allowance amount (available when the Advanced Package OPERA Control is active).

      5. Click Save.

   3. Click Save.

Deleting Packages on a Rate Code

1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Rate Codes.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. From search results, select the rate code then click vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select Delete

   1. On the Rate Code presentation page click the Rate Code Packages details link.

   2. Select the package item, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

   3. Click Delete to confirm.
