Configuring Display Sets

Prerequisites for Configuring Display Sets

You can create Display Set codes so that reservation agents can find rate codes based on this special grouping of rates. Example of Display Sets could be such groupings as Best Available, Corporate, Discount, Promotional, Package etc.

When creating rate codes you can select the applicable display set for the rate code. If no display set is selected for one or more rate codes, these rates will be grouped and displayed under a No Display Set grouping in Look To Book.

The Default Display Set OPERA Control determines which set of rates displays by default in Look to Book result.

Note:

In multi-property operations Display Sets configuration applies to all properties. Defaulted Display Sets are indicated with Defaulted Display Sets icon

Adding Display Sets

  1. From the OPERA Cloud Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Display Sets.

  2. Click New and enter the following details:

    1. Code: Enter a code for the display set.

    2. Description: Enter a description for the display set.

      1. Manage Translation: Click to open the multi-language descriptions screen and configure a translated description for each language.

    3. Sequence: Enter a display sequence in lists.

  3. Click Save.

Editing Display Sets

  1. From the OPERA Cloud Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Display Sets.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the display set in search result, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

    1. Update details.

    2. Inactive: Select the make the display set inactive. Inactive codes will not display in list for selection.

  4. Click Save.

Deleting Display Sets

Note:

If the display set is selected in rate code(s) it cannot be deleted.

  1. From the OPERA Cloud Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Display Sets.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the display set in search result, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
