Configuring Promotion Groups
Creating Promotion Groups

From OPERA Cloud Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Promotion Groups.
Note:
When the OPERA Multi-property Cross Reservation Cloud Service is active, new Promotion Groups are created by selecting the Template tab. Once created, you can copy Promotion Groups to specific properties using the Copy action. See Copying Configuration Codes to Multiple Properties for more information. -
Click New and enter the following details:

Promotion Group (Code): Enter a code for the Promotion group.

Promotion Group Name: Enter a name for the Promotion group.

Program Type: Enter the type of promotion group (e.g., radio, TV, Internet/Web, email, etc.).

Description: Enter a description of the promotion group.

Click Save or Save and Continue to add another Promotion Group.
Editing Promotion Groups

From OPERA Cloud Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Promotion Groups.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

From search results, select a Promotion Group and click on the Vertical Ellipsis.

From search results, select the promotion group, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

Update the configuration.

Inactive: Select check box to mark as inactive.

Click Save.
Deleting Promotion Groups

From OPERA Cloud Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Promotion Groups.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

From search results, select the promotion group, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

Click Delete to confirm.
