Setting Up the Apple Safari Browser

Allow Pop-up Windows

Click the Action menu (looks like a gear and appears near the upper-right corner) and then click Block Pop-Up Windows to deselect it (the check mark next to it is removed).

Setting Up OPERA Cloud as Home Page

  1. Click the Action menu (looks like a gear and appears near the upper-right corner) and then select Preferences.

  2. Click General.

  3. In the Homepage field, type or paste your OPERA Cloud URL into the text field. For example, https://hgbu-opera.oracleindustry.com/

Creating Home Screen Shortcut

You can save OPERA Cloud on the home screen of your iPad or iPhone. Once saved, an icon appears on your home screen and opens OPERA Cloud in Safari when you tap it.

  1. Open Safari on your iPad or iPhone and navigate to OPERA Cloud.

  2. Tap the Share button on the menu bar (the Share button appears as a box with an arrow pointing up).

  3. Tap Add to Home Screen.

  4. Enter OPERA Cloud for the shortcut name and confirm the OPERA Cloud URL.

  5. Tap Add to finish adding the OPERA Cloud shortcut to your home screen.

Turn Off Autofill 

  1. Open the Safari browser.

  2. Click on the Safari menu and select Preferences from the drop-down options.

  3. In the following screen, select Autofill. You should now see a window with a number of options enabled for the autofill feature.

  4. Uncheck all the options to completely disable autofill.

Clear Autofill Data 

  1. Open the Safari browser.

  2. Click on the Safari menu and select Preferences from the drop-down options.

  3. In the following screen, select Autofill. You should now see a window with a number of options enabled for the autofill feature.

  4. Click the Edit button next to an option and then click on the Remove All button.
