Setting Up the Google Chrome Browser

Allowing Pop-up Windows

Pop-up blockers prevent OPERA Cloud pages from loading in the browser.

1. Click  and select Setting.

2. Click Advanced .

3. Click Privacy and Security

4. Click Site Settings

5. Click Popups.

6. Click Add in the Allow section.

7. Enter or paste the OPERA Cloud URL. For example, https://hgbu-opera.oracleindustry.com/ or *.oracleindustry.com

8. Click Add.

Setting Up OPERA Cloud as Home Page

Google Chrome lets you create a home page and a start page. The home page appears in the browser when you select the home button on the toolbar. The start page is the page that appears when you open Chrome.

1. Click  then click Settings.

2. Click Appearance.

3. Enable Show Home Button switch.

4. Click the Enter custom web address button.

5. Enter or paste your OPERA Cloud URL. For example, https://hgbu-opera.oracleindustry.com/ .

6. Click On Startup.

7. Select the Open a Specific Page.

8. Click Add a new page.

9. In the Site URL field, enter or paste your OPERA Cloud URL.

10. Click Add.

Deactivate Payment Autofill

1. Click  then select Settings.

2. Click Autofill.

3. Click Payment Methods and toggle the following settings to Off.

   1. Save and Fill Payment Methods.

   2. Allow sites to check if you have payment methods saved.

Clear Autofill Data 

1. Open the Google Chrome browser.

2. Click Customize and control Google Chrome menu (3 vertical dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window.

3. From the drop-down menu, select More tools.

4. Select Clear browsing data.

5. Set the Time range to All time.

6. Select Browsing history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files and click CLEAR DATA.
