Room Conditions allow you to assign a special , temporary condition to rooms resulting in the room being available (displayed) or not available within Available Room search, depending on how you configure the room condition code. Room conditions are a useful way to communicate special , temporary conditions of a room with front desk agents..

For example, you could set a room condition, on a room, to temporarily remove the room in the available room search result because it is being used for room shows or for a photography shoot. Or you could set a room condition on a room to indicate that the inter-connecting door is unlocked or that the minibar has been removed, and have this room condition display to front desk agents in Available Room search. Adding Room Conditions 

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, select Room Management, and then select Room Conditions.

  2. Click New.

  3. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  4. Select the room(s) to add room condition and click Select.

  5. In the Details panel complete the following

    1. Condition. Select a condition from the list

      Note:

      The type column indicates whether the room is available or unavailable in the Available Room search.
    2. Remarks. Enter additional details about the room condition.

  6. Click Save

  7. Click Back to Room Conditions on confirmation page

Editing Room Conditions

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, select Room Management, and then select Room Conditions.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the room in the search result, click the vertical ellipsis and select Edit.

  4. Update the details.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Room Conditions

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, select Room Management, and then select Room Conditions.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the room(s) in the search result, click Delete.

Generating Room Condition Room (hkassignroomall)

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, select Room Management, and then select Room Conditions.

  2. Click Report.

    1. Enter report parameters.

    2. Select a report destination.

    3. See Generating Reports.

  3. Click Process.
