Managing Block Linked Profiles

The Linked Profiles panel displays all sales accounts and contacts linked to a block. The profiles are presented in a business card format showing the profile name, address, and communication details.

Profile names are displayed as links, allowing you to access Profile Presentation when clicked.

Note:

You can access the profile details only after saving all changes on the Linked Profiles panel.

Adding Sales Account and Contact Links to Block

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Blocks, and then select Manage Block to search for the block.

  2. Enter search criteria, and then click Search.

  3. Select the block in the search result, click I Want To... then Linked Profiles or click the Linked Profiles link in Block Presentation.

  4. Click  Add Account to link a Company, Agent or Source profile to the block.

    1. On the Quick Profile Search screen, enter search criteria and click Search.

    2. Select the profile (sales account) in the result and click Select Account Only.

    3. If the sales account has a contact, select the contact and click Select Account and Contact to link both to the block.

  5. Click Add Contact to link a contact to the block.

    1. On the Quick Profile Search screen, enter search criteria and click Search.

    2. Select the contact in the search result and click Select Contact Only.

    3. If the contact is linked to a sales account, select the contact and click Select Account and Contact to link both to the block.

      Note:

      If you cannot find the Sales Account or Contact, you can create new profiles and attach them to the block.
  6. Click I Want To... in the top right. For more information, seeManaging Profiles.

Selecting Print and Primary Profiles

  1. Each profile type must have at least one profile with the Primary check box selected for the block.

  2. You can select the Print check box for one account and one contact to nominate these profiles to print on customer stationery, such as the contract or the banquet event order.

Remove Accounts and Contact Links from Block

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Blocks, and then select Manage Block to search for the block.

  2. Enter search criteria, and then click Search.

  3. Select the block in the search result, click I Want To... then Linked Profiles or click the Linked Profiles link in Block Presentation.

  4. Select the Sales Account or Contact, click vertical ellipsis, select Remove.

  5. Click Remove to confirm.
