Additional Steps for Payment Awards Configuration

Payment Awards are configured in the Loyalty central currency, but posted to the PMS reservation account in the property currency when redeemed; therefore additional configuration is required to ensure that currency conversion occurs.

Update Central Currency Code OPERA Control	Select the required currency code for the Central Currency Code OPERA Control. Point calculation and redemption is processed in this currency.
Update Property (PMS) Currency	Select the required currency code for the property currency in Property Controls > Currency.
Update Global Exchange Rates	Setup exchange rate for the Membership exchange type. Create a 1:1 rate for the property currency Create a 1:x rate for the central currency
Add Revenue Transaction Code for Points Redemption	Configure a 'Membership Redemption Payment' sales charge transaction code. The main group linked to transaction code must be "Revenue". Ensure the transaction code has the Revenue Group check box unchecked (non-revenue). has the Manual Post check box unchecked. has the Paidout check box unchecked. Ensure there are no tax generates on the linked main-group, sub-group or directly on the transaction code.
