Managing Reservation Transaction Diversion

Adding Reservation Transaction Diversion Rules

 Reservation type Threshold rules can be attached to an active reservation on the day of arrival, after check in, or that is arriving in the future. 

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Reservations, then select Manage Reservation.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in search result, click I Want To. . . ., click Transaction Diversion  or open Reservation Presentation and click the Transaction Diversion details link.

  4. Click New and complete the following

    1. Code: Select a transaction diversion code from the list; selection depends on the VIP or Membership details of the primary profile linked to the reservation.

    2. Notes: Enter any notes

  5. Click Save.

Editing Reservation Transaction Diversion Rules

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Reservations, then select Manage Reservation.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in search result, click I Want To , click Transaction Diversion  or open Reservation Presentation and click the Transaction Diversion details link.

  4. Select the diversion rule, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

    1. Update details.

    2. Inactive: Click to inactive the rule.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Reservation Transaction Diversion Rules

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Reservations, then select Manage Reservation.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in search result, click I Want To. . ., click Transaction Diversion  or open Reservation Presentation and click the Transaction Diversion details link.

  4. Select the diversion rule, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select Delete.

  5. Click Delete to confirm.

Viewing Transaction Diversion Summary

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Reservations, then select Manage Reservation.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in search result, click I Want To. . . , click Transaction Diversion  or open Reservation Presentation and click the Transaction Diversion details link.

  4. Select the diversion rule, click + to expand.

Viewing Transaction Diversion Daily Details

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Reservations, then select Manage Reservation.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in search result, click I Want To. . ., click Transaction Diversion  or open Reservation Presentation and click the Transaction Diversion details link.

  4. Select the diversion rule, click the vertical ellipsis Actions, and select View Daily Details.

Viewing Transaction Diversion Rule Configuration

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Reservations, then select Manage Reservation.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in search result, click I Want To. . ., click Transaction Diversion  or open Reservation Presentation and click the Transaction Diversion details link.

  4. Select the diversion rule, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select View Configuration.
