Prerequisites for Sales Activities Auto Traces

Use auto-traces to configure rules for the automatic creation of activities based on the creation, update or deletion of a Sales Account, Contact, Block or Activity. Use owner mapping to assign specific activities to a different owner on behalf of an owner. Activity trace codes are selected in Sales Accounts, Contacts, Blocks or Activities to auto-generate activities for the entity, based on the Activity Trace Definition.

A "CSL" Activity Auto Trace code is seeded in all properties and populates in property leads created from a central sales hub. The Activity owner assigned is specified in the Property Lead Block Owner OPERA Control. For more information, see Managing Central Sales Leads.
