Cashier Login

Cashier Login is a security feature designed to prevent unauthorized users from accessing cashiering functions. You can configure cashier IDs in Configure Cashier and assign cashier IDs and privileges to users in Managing Users.

When the Force Cashier Login is active in OPERA Controls you need to enter your cashier logon details to access cashiering functions such as:

• Reservation Deposits

• Reservations Check Out

• Reservation Billing

• Accounts Receivable Invoices

• Block Post Unallocated Deposits

• Posting Journal

• Post It

Note:

A PIN is required for authentication instead of your sign-on password.
