Configuring Guest Status

The Guest Status Screen is used to create Guest Status Codes based on your Property’s local requirements.

The Guest Status list field can be added to the Reservation Overview Reservation and Stay Details panel of Reservation Presentation using Customizing or Personalizing a Screen with Page Composer.

The Guest Status Codes, such as tourist-cl1 (class1), tourist-cl2, goverment-cl1, government-cl2 and so on are used to track the registration status of guests in countries such as Croatia and can be included in exports required by local authorities.

Adding Guest Statuses

  1. From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Reservation Management, and then select Guest Status.

  2. Click New and complete the following fields:
    1. Code: Enter a code for the Guest Status code.

    2. Description: Enter the text that describes the Guest Status.

    3. Sequence: Enter a number that controls the position of this code in listings. Codes without a sequence number assigned are listed in alphabetical order following codes with a sequence assigned. 

  3. Click Save.

Editing Guest Statuses

  1. From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Reservation Management, and then select Guest Status.
  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. In the search results, select the code, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and then select Edit.

  4. Update the configuration.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Guest Statuses

  1. From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Reservation Management, and then select Guest Status.
  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. In the search results, select the code, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and then select Delete.
  4. Click Delete to confirm.
