Configuring Property Types

Create categories of various types of properties that will be referenced in Property Configuration. Use Property Types to categorize your properties by their characteristics (Resort, 4 Star, Apartment, etc).

Adding Property Types

1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Property Types.

2. Click New and complete the following

   1. Code. Enter a code for the property type.

   2. Description. Enter a description for the property type.

      1. Manage Translation:  Click link to configure localized descriptions. For more information, see Configuring Localized Code Descriptions. (Available when the Multi-language OPERA Control is active.).

   3. Sequence. Enter a display sequence.

3. Click Save or Save and Continue to add another.

Editing Property Types

1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Property Types.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the Property Type, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

4. Update the configuration.

5. Click Save.

Deleting Property Types

1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Property Types.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the Property Type, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu Delete.

4. Click Delete to confirm.
