Managing Accompanying Guests

When the Accompanying Profile OPERA Control is active you can also link additional guest profiles as accompanying guests; identifying someone who is also occupying the room but does not require a separate reservation account or has independent stay dates. When the Print Registration Cards for Accompanying Guests OPERA Control is active you can generate a registration card for accompanying profiles linked to the reservation. You can also search for reservations by accompanying guest names in Manage Reservations search. If the guest requires a separate folio or has staggered arrival or departure dates use the Shares option instead. For more information, see Managing Reservations Shares

Adding Accompanying Guests

  1. From the OPERA Cloud  menu, select Bookings , select Manage Reservation.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in search result, then click I Want To . . . and select Accompanying Profile or open the reservation presentation and click Accompanying Profile.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Click New to link a profile.

    1. Enter search criteria and click Search.

      Click Create Guest Profile to create a new profile. For more information, see  Creating a Guest or Contact Profile.
    2. Select a profile in the search result, then click Select.

    3. Click Save.

  6. Click Save or click Save and Edit Stay Details to launch Manage Reservation.

Deleting Accompanying Guests

  1. From the OPERA Cloud  menu, select Bookings , select Manage Reservation.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in search result, then click I Want To . . . and select Accompanying Profile or open the reservation presentation and click Accompanying Profile.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Select the accompanying guest, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

  6. Click Save or click Save and Edit Stay Details to launch Manage Reservation.
