Configuring Profile Match Rules

The  merge rules can consist of either one data field or a combination of data fields that need to be met to obtain your defined weighing points.

When the total points meet or exceed the threshold specified for the profile type, the profile is considered a match.

Adding Profile Match Rules

  1. From the side menu, select Exchange, then select Interface Setup and select Profile Match Rules.

  2. Click New and complete the following

    1. Property. Enter or select the property from the list

    2. Interface. Enter or select the interface from the list

    3. Profile Type. Select a profile type from the list; options are Guest, Company, Travel Agent, Source, and Group 

    4. Threshold. Enter a threshold value

    5. Active. Select checkbox to activate

    6. Match Criteria. Click New and complete the following

      1. Match Rule. Select one or more data fields from the list 

      2. Points. Enter weighting points amount for the match rule

      3. Active. Select checkbox to activate the match rule.

      4. Repeat to add more match criteria

    7. Click Save.

Editing Profile Match Criteria

  1. From the side menu, select Exchange, then select Interface Setup and select Profile Match Rules.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the match rule and click Edit.

  4. Update match rules.

  5. Click New to add a match rule.

  6. Select a match rule and click Delete to remove a match rule.

Deleting Profile Match Criteria

  1. From the side menu, select Exchange, then select Interface Setup and select Profile Match Rules.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the match rule and click Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
