Data Value Mappings

Data Value Mappings (DMV) configuration is available to setup code conversions (data transformation) for OPERA Cloud and Outbound System values. The Data Value Mapping action link is visible when the Enable Conversions check box is selected in Outbound System configuration.

Adding Data Value Mappings

1. From the Toolbox menu, select System Setup, and then select Outbound System Configuration.

2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

3. Select the outbound system in the search result, then click I Want To . . . and select Data Value Mapping.

   1. Select a group from the left panel; the right panel loads with predefined codes if available.

   2. Click New.

      1. OPERA Cloud Code: Select a code from the list.

      2. External Code: Enter the external system code.

      3. External > OPERA Cloud: Select check box to transform data received from external system.

      4. OPERA Cloud > External: Select check box to transform data sent to external system.

      5. Click Save.

Editing Data Value Mappings

1. From the Toolbox menu, select System Setup, and then select Outbound System Configuration.

2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

3. Select the outbound system in the search result, then click I Want To . . . and select Data Value Mapping.

   1. Select a group from the left panel.

   2. Select the code mapping record, then click Edit.

   3. Update the configuration.

   4. Click Save.

Deleting Data Value Mappings

1. From the Toolbox menu, select System Setup, and then select Outbound System Configuration.

2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

3. Select the outbound system in the search result, then click I Want To . . . and select Data Value Mapping.

   1. Select a group from the left panel.

   2. Select the code mapping record, then click Delete.

   3. Click Delete to confirm.
