Preference Groups

Preference groups are used to categorized the various preferences selected in a profile or reservation. OPERA Cloud is pre-configured with preference groups for Room features, Smoking, Floor, Specials, Dietary and (room) Key Options. You can create additional preference groups (for example, pillow, music, newspaper), as well as the preferences associated with these preference groups.

For each preference group it is possible to define the number (quantity) of preferences that can be selected in a profile or reservation. For example, you can restrict the Smoking preference group to only one preference (either smoking or non-smoking) , but allow several floors to be selected for the Floors preference group.
