Configuring Sales Manager Goals

Sales Manager Goals allow you to set and monitor Rooms, Catering, and Activities goals for Sales Managers.

You can setup the following Sales Manager Goals:
  1. Group Rooms with Catering: Goals related to Rooms and Catering business.

  2. Transient Goals: Non Group Goals related to Rooms business.

  3. Activities: Goals related to Activities

Sales Manager Goals are available on the Sales Manager Progress (rep_mgr_progress_BI) report. The Stay Periods configured as Arrival Periods in Production Goals are printed listed on the report.

Adding Group Rooms with Catering Goals

  1. From the Administration menu, select Bookings, then select Sales Manager Goals.

  2. Select the Sales Owner, then click the Vertical Ellipsis and select Edit.

    1. Select the Group Rooms with Catering Goal Type in the search, then click Search.

    2. Click New and complete the following:

      1. Future Dates: Select this check box to display future dates when selecting the Production From / Production To and Arrival From / Arrival To dates. This check box is selected by default.

      2. Arrival Goal:. Select this check box if this is an arrival goal. This goal is considered to be an arrival goal and 'Arrival' will display in the Type column on the Goal screen.

      3. Production From/Production To (Mandatory): If the Arrival Goal check box is not selected, this is a production goal. Production goals are booking goals, regardless of the arrival date. For example, if the Production From / Production To dates are January 1, 2020 and March 31, 2020, any booking made between January 1 and March 31 on a certain "credit" status, or changed during this time frame to the defined "credit" status, would be counted toward meeting the goal. Click to view a list of the production periods set up for your property. Selecting the production period automatically sets both the Production From and Production To dates. For more information, see Configuring Period Definition Periods.
