Configuring Membership Type Folio Message

Note:

If a reservation has more than one membership program selected, the Folio Message only generates for the primary membership type of each membership class. The MEMBERSHIP_FOLIO_MESSAGE data element must be added to folio templates.

Editing Membership Type Folio Message

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, Membership Management, and then Membership Types.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

  3. Select the membership type and click the vertical ellipse Actions menu and select Edit.

  4. Click the Folio Message link.

  5. Click Edit and complete the following:

    1. Print Folio Message On Confirmation: Select check box to generate the folio message on confirmations. The MEMBERSHIP_FOLIO_MESSAGE data element must be added to confirmation templates.

    2. Member Folio Message: Enter text and insert merge fields to output on the folio at settlement.

      1. Select a from these merge codes and click Select to insert at the cursor location.

        1. MEMBERSHIP_CARD_NO - Displays the Membership Card Number.

        2. MEMBERSHIP_LEVE L- Displays the Membership Level.

        3. ELIGIBLE_NIGHTS - Displays the total number of Eligible Nights based on the Eligible Reservation Code in the Reservation Daily Details and the Eligibility Code in the Folio Message Eligibility Code(s) OPERA Control. (Available when the Display Reservation Awards OPERA Control is active).

        4. ELIGIBLE_EARN_REVENUE - Display the total amount of revenue eligible for earning awards/tier points based on the revenue posted under the transaction code flagged with Membership on an eligible night. (Available when the Display Reservation Awards OPERA Control is active).

        5. POINTS_REDEMPTION_REVENUE - Display the total amount of revenue eligible to be paid with award points based on the revenue posted under the transaction code setup for Points Redemption. (Available when the Award Points Redemption and Loyalty Payment Award with Eligible Transactions OPERA Controls are active).

      2. Manage Translation: Click link to configure localized descriptions. For more information, see Configuring Localized Code Descriptions. (Available when the Multi-language OPERA Control is active.).

  6. Click Save.
