Configuring Country Main Group Codes

The Country Main Group provides a code representing a logical grouping of various countries. The functionality links to statistics information for Profiles. You can add, edit, and delete Country Main Group Codes.

Adding Country Main Group Codes

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Geographic Management, and then select Country Main Group.

  2. Click New to add a Country Main Group using the Manage Country Main Group screen.

  3. Click New and enter the following details:
    1. Code: Enter a code.

    2. Description: Enter a description for the Country Main Group Code.
      1. Manage Translation: Click link to configure localized descriptions. For more information, see Configuring Localized Code Descriptions. (Available when the Multi-language OPERA Control is active.).

    3. Sequence: Enter a number to position the country main group code in a list.

  4. Click Save. Or, click Save and Continue to create another code.

Editing Country Main Group Codes

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Geographic Management, and then select Country Main Group .

    Enter search criteria and click Search.

  2. Select the code, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select Edit.

  3. Update configuration.

  4. Click Save.

Deleting Country Main Group Codes

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Geographic Management, and then select Country Main Group .

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the code, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
