Configuring Item Rate Rules
Prerequisites for Configuring Item Rate Rules
Item Rate Rules describe how individual items are priced (for example, per hour, per day, or each) for non-food and non-beverage resources such as flip charts, projectors, and so on.
Item Rate Rule configuration is shared by all properties in MultiProperty operations.
Adding Item Rates
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Item Rate Rules. 
- 
                        Click New and complete the following: - 
                              Code. Enter a code for the Item Rate. 
- 
                              Description. Enter a description for the item rate. 
- 
                              Manage Translation: Click link to configure localized descriptions. For more information, see Configuring Localized Code Descriptions. (Available when the Multi Language OPERA Control is active.). 
- 
                              Sequence. Enter a display sequence to indicate sequence in list.

                        Click Save. 
Editing Item Rates
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Item Rate Rules. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        Select the item rate, click the vertical ellipsis, and click Edit. 
- 
                        Update the item Rate Rule’s details. 
- 
                        Click Save. 
Deleting Item Rates
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Item Rate Rules. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        Select the item rate, click the vertical ellipsis, and click Delete. 
- 
                        Click Delete to confirm.
