Block Actual Pick Up Report (rep_actbh.rep)

Prerequisite for Actual Business Block Rooms Report

This report compares booked room nights, revenue, and average rate with picked-up room nights, revenue, and average rate. This is a slightly different model of the Block Pick Up Report (REP_ACTBB_P.REP) with a different lay-out and filter options, but essentially the same information is included.

Selection Criteria

  1. Enter or select the property. You can select multiple properties from a hub location.

  2. Start From Date From/Start To Date: Enter a block start (arrival) range.

    Or

    Stay From Date / Stay To Date: Enter a block stay-over date range (the room allocation date range.

  3. Block Status: Select one or more block statuses from the list.

  4. Market Segment: Select one more market segments from the list.

  5. Block Type: Select a block type.

    1. Rooms: Only blocks with the Catering Only check box unchecked are included.

    2. Catering: Blocks with the Catering Only check box checked are included.

    3. All: All blocks are included.

  6. Rooms Owner: Select one or more rooms owners from the list. (Available when the Owner OPERA Control is active)

  7. Status For Current Figures: Select one or more block statuses from the list.

  8. Sort Order: Select a sort order in the Available panel and use > to move selection to the Selected panel.

  9. Page Orientation: Select a page orientation.

  10. Currency: Select a currency from the list. (Available when the Ability to Quote Rates in Foreign Currency OPERA Control is active).

Report Data

For each booking, the report prints the following data:

  • The account name and block, as well as the block ID, current block status, selected change status and status change date, rooms owner, and catering owner of the block.

  • The block start and end date and block currency.

  • The current room nights, revenue, and average rate (printed in the top row of the revenue box).

  • The actual picked-up room nights, revenue, and average rate (printed beneath the current figures).

  • The calculated difference as a third line beneath the actual values.

A sub-total by selected first sort group is printed, as well as a total for the whole report.

Note:

The current block rates are calculated from the value as it appears in the room grid of the booking regardless of any included taxes and package elements, if applicable. The picked-up rates and revenue are NET of taxes and packages. You should keep this in mind when comparing these values.
