Function Space Utilization Report (rep_fs_utilization.rep with rep_fs_utilization.fmx)

The Function Space Utilization Report details the Maximum (Potential) Utilization, Actual Utilization and Occupancy % of each function space. In order to generate an accurate report ensure the 100% Occupancy attribute is setup correctly in Additional Details Configuring Function Space Additional Details for each function space. If the 100% Occupancy attribute is not configured for a space, the report will generate based on the default time of 1440 minutes (24 hours).

Selection Criteria

Property: Enter or select the property. You can select multiple properties from a hub location

Date Range: Select the From and To dates to display the function space utilization for this time period.

Days of the Week: Used in conjunction with the Date Range field, select the check box beside the day of the week that is to display in the report.

Space Type: Select the space type for which the report should be printed, Single, Combo or Both.

Event Status:  Select the status of the event. Even though any status can be selected, revenue figures will only be calculated for events in a deduct-from-inventory status.

Event Type: Select the type of events to display in the results.

Function Space: Select all or specific function spaces.

Revenue Type: Select the revenue type of the function space.

Include Setup/Tear down Time: Displays the length of time it takes to setup and tear down the function space.

Print Daily Summary: Active only when the Single Space Type option button is selected, includes the daily summary for the function space.

Date Range Summary Only: Active only when Print Daily Summary is not checked. When selected only a summary for the selected date range will be printed. No details by event will be included.

Print Events: Available only when Date Range Summary Only is not checked. Reports the events booked in each function space based on the filters selected.

Report Data

This report is ordered by row, one row per space/day. Each row contains the following columns: Date, Room Type (Single, Combo or Both), Space Name/Event Name, Business Block ID and Event Scheduled Time (displays only when the Print Events option is selected), Maximum Configured Utilization, Actual Utilization, Occupancy Percentage, Number of Attendees, Total Revenues and Revenue per Square Footage of Function Space, or Square Meters depending on the OPERA Control configuration for Measurements and Average Check. The calculation for Total Revenue will use either expected revenue, guaranteed revenue or actual revenue.
