With an Oracle Hospitality OPERA  Cloud Service Loyalty subscription,

Loyalty Tracking Cloud Service, members can redeem award points

towards packages based on validity  dates, tier, and other factors.

Once redeemed, the Points Available  value in profile membership is

updated based on updates or cancellations. An Award record is also created for each night

on the profile membership panel. Let's get started!

The package offer is based on the available points  balance, member level or tier, validity dates,

and other criteria. Points are validated

when the package is selected. To add package awards to reservations:

In the OPERA Cloud menu,  select Bookings, Reservations,

and then select Manage Reservation. Enter search criteria, and click Search.

Now, in the search result, select the reservation  you want to add the package award to,

then click I Want to . . . , and the link to  packages appears in the reservation area,

or click the confirmation number to  open the Manage Reservation screen.

When the Reservation appears, in the reservation  area you can click the Packages link.

You can also click the Search  Available Member Package Awards

link above the reservation overview. This opens the Available Award Packages.

The available Award Packages are displayed  with details on the Calculation Rule,

Posting Rhythm, and Points required. Click Add on the package item to select

update the quantity, if required, and then  click the check mark to confirm availability.

to remove or cancel the award package. Note: When cancelling a reservation with

package award or just cancelling a  package award for a reservation,

the deducted points are credited to the  member, less any cancellation penalties,
