Managing eSignature Registration Cards

eSign Registration Cards are available for mobile check-in on a tablet device; allowing guests to initial and sign a digital registration card. You can create multiple eSigned registration cards for a reservation, which are retained according to the Days to Purge e-Signed Registration Cards OPERA Control.

When the Multi Language OPERA Control active, the registration card is displays in accordance with the Language selected in the guest profile.

Creating eSign Registration Cards

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Front Desk, and select Arrivals.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in the search result, then click I Want To . . . , and select Create eSign Registration Card.

  4. Alternatively, when checking in reservations click the I Want To . . . and select Create eSign Registration Card.

  5. When the registration card appears on the tablet, ask the guest to initial and sign.

    1. The guest can tap the Initial and Signature areas and sign directly on the tablet.

    2. The guest can tap the pencil icons adjacent to their initials or signature to make an update.

    3. Click Save to store the eSign registration card file with the reservation.

Viewing and Printing eSign Registration Cards

Once a guest signs the registration card, a link is enabled in the reservation to view and print the eSigned registration document. Depending on the reservation status use the appropriate menu to search for the reservation - for checked-out (history) reservations, use the Bookings, Manage Reservation menu to search for reservations.
  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Front Desk, and select Inhouse.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

  3. Select the reservation in the search result, then click I Want To . . . and select eSigned Registration Cards.

  4. Select the registration card, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select from the following:

    1. Preview to display the eSigned registration document.

    2. Print to the document.
