Configuring Central Room Pool Mapping

Prerequisites for Configuring Central Room Pools

Central Room Pool Mapping is used to map central sales properties' room types to a central room pool so you can create and send Managing Central Sales Leads. For example, you might create a central room pool for standard rooms and all central sales properties' standard rooms are mapped to the standard room central room pool.

Editing Central Room Pool Mapping

1. From the Administration menu, select Inventory, select Accommodation Management, and then select Central Room Pool Mapping.

2. Enter or select the property and then click Search.

3. Click Edit and enter the following details for each room type listed:

   1. Central Room Pool: Select a Central Room Pool from the list. For more information, see Configuring Central Room Pools.

   2. Restricted: Select check box to force rooms to be allocated using inventory room types in the Block Room and Rate Grid.

   3. Sequence: Defines the order in which room inventory will be allocated to the room types.

   4. Click Save.
