Configuring Membership Classes

Membership classes are used to classify the various membership programs (membership types). They can be identified as Frequent Flyer Programs (Airline Program), Loyalty Programs (Frequent Guest Program) or other. Before you configure membership types you must first define the membership classes that the membership types are associated to.

Adding Membership Classes

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Membership Management, and then select Membership Class.

  2. Click New and enter the following details:

    1. Code: Enter a code for the membership class.

    2. Description: Enter a description for the membership class.

    3. Sequence: Enter a number that controls the position of this code in listings. Codes without a sequence number assigned are listed in alphabetical order following codes with a sequence assigned.

    4. Loyalty Program: Select this check box if the membership class is a Frequent Guest loyalty program. Only one class can be selected as a loyalty program. Loyalty Program class is eligible to earn Award Points and Tier Points.

    5. Frequent Flyer: Check this box if the membership class is a frequent flyer program. Only one class can be selected as a frequent flyer program. Frequent Flyer class is eligible to earn Award Points only.

  3. Click Save.

Editing Membership Classes

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Membership Management, and then select Membership Class.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the membership class, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and click Edit.

  4. Update details.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Membership Classes

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Membership Management, and then select Membership Class.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the membership class, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.

Note:

You cannot delete a membership class which is linked to membership types.
