Searching Reservation Transactions

You can use the Search Transactions feature to locate charges posted to the reservation account.

Searching Transactions

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Front Deskand then select In House.

  2. Enter search criteria and then click Search.

  3. Select the reservation from the search results and click I Want To...  and select Billing.

  4. In Manage Billing:

    1. Click I Want To... and then select Search Transactions.

      1. Enter search criteria and then click Search.

Searching and Transferring Transactions

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Front Deskand then select In House.

  2. Enter search criteria and then click Search.

  3. Select the reservation from the search results and click I Want To...  and select Billing.

  4. In Manage Billing:

    1. Click I Want To...  and then select Search Transactions.

      1. Enter search criteria and then click Search

      2. Select transactions in the search result, then click vertical ellipsis and select Transfer Postings.

      3. Select the Transfer Direction.

        1. to Folio Window: Select to transfer charges to a folio window in the current reservation

        2. to a Room: Select to transfer charges to another room/reservation

          1. Room: Enter or select a room from the list

          2. Guest Name: Enter or select reservation/guest name from the list

        3. Click Transfer.

Generating a Posting Journal Report

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Front Desk and then select In House.

  2. Enter search criteria and then click Search.

  3. Select the reservation from the search results and click I Want To...  and select Billing.

  4. In Manage Billing:
    1. Click I Want To...  and then select Search Transactions.

      1. Enter search criteria and then click Search

      2. Select transactions in the search result, then click vertical ellipsis and select Generate Journal Report.

      3. Select a destination then click Process.
