Updating Contacts

The Update Contact Utility can be used to replace the contact associated with future activities, business blocks, and/or reservations

  1. From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Data Management then select Update Contact.
    1. Property: Select or confirm the property.

    2. Change From Contact: Click to open the Contact search, select a contact to update.

    3. Change To Contact: Click to open Contact search, select the contact you want to replace with.

    4. Update Options: Select the check boxes that correspond to the entities to update the contact.
      • Activities: All future activities.

      • Blocks:All future business blocks.

      • Reservations: All future reservations (Available when the Reservation Contacts OPERA Control is active).

    5. Make Primary for All: Select this check box to make the new contact the primary contact for updated business blocks and activities.

  2. Click Update Contacts.
