Exporting Property Configuration Shells

You can export the property configuration from a production environment and import it to a non-production environment to refresh (re-provision) the property.

Exporting property configuration activity is tracked in the Changes Log.

Note:

When you choose the Utilize Configured Shell option, the GSHELL list value will be available after every release on the Refresh Property screen. But is not intended for use.

Note:

Configured code description translations in the source shell file are copied during the Import Shell process.

Exporting Property Configuration

1. From the Toolbox menu, select System Setup and then select Export Shell.

2. Property: Enter or select a property.

3. Export Shell Name: Enter a filename.

4. Export Shell:

   1. Select Generate and Download.

5. Click Export Shell: A progress bar displays the export progress.

Downloading Property Configuration Export

1. From the Toolbox menu, select System Setup and then select Export Shell.

2. Property: Enter or select a property.

3. Export Shell Name: Enter a filename.

4. Export Shell:

   1. Select Download Existing.

5. Shell Name: Select a shell file from the list.

6. Click Download Shell to download file to default download folder.
