Managing Business Date
Setting Property Start Date
This utility can only be used if there no financial transactions exist and the end of day process has never been run.

From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Data Management, and then select Manage Business Date.

Select Set Property Start Date and enter the following details.

Property: Select a property from the list

Proposed Date: Enter or select a business date.

Click Process.
Running Multiple End of Days
At times it may be desirable for you to run multiple consecutive end of days (night audits) in order to roll the business date forward for several days. In such cases, the Change Business Date utility can be used to run multiple consecutive night audits. In multi-property operations, you can set a different business date for each property. The Multiple End of Days OPERA Control must be active and your user role must have Manage Business Date task granted in order to use this feature. The EOD Email Address OPERA Control should be configured with the email address of an individual to receive the final status report upon completion of the multiple end of day processes.
Note:
When running multiple End of Days, the Income Audit OPERA Control will be ignored.The following conditions should be observed when using this utility to consecutively run multiple end of day processes.

All in-house reservations must be checked out before starting this procedure.

There cannot be any reservations scheduled to check in between now and the target date.

There cannot be any blocks with a start date between now and the target date.

There cannot be any reservation with open folios.

All prior business days must have a closed status.

The Auto Continue OPERA Control should be active.

From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Data Management, and then select Manage Business Date.

Select Run Multiple End of Days and enter the following details.

Property: Select a property from the list.

Proposed Date: Enter or select a business date.

Click Process.

Click Deactivate when prompted; this will disable all non-mandatory procedures and reports from running during this process.
