Synchronizing Sales Allowance

Prerequisites for Synchronizing Sales Allowance

Run the Synchronize Sales Allowance utility when the sales allowance availability is incorrect. The available sales allowances may fall out of sync when the number of rooms allocated to the sales allowance is changed after deduct inventory bookings already exist for the dates.

1. From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Synchronization then select Sales Allowance.

   1. Property: Enter or select the property

   2. From Date: Enter or select a start date 

   3. To Date: Enter or select a start date

   4. Click Search.

   5. The following details are displayed:

      1. Property: Displays the property where the sales allowance is incorrect.

      2. Allotment D Qty.: Number of room nights booked at a deduct status for the date from the allotment detail table. A discrepancy will occur if the total for this column is not calculated by adding the sum of the Booked Rooms with the Overbooked Rooms.

      3. Ceiling Date: Date for the Sales Allowance.

      4. Sales Allowance: Number of rooms allotted to the Sales Allowance for the selected date.

      5. Booked: Number of rooms booked against the Sales Allowance at a deduct status. This figure can never be higher than the Sales Allowance number.\

      6. Over Booked: Number of rooms booked that is more than the allotted Sales Allowance.

      7. Available: Number of rooms still available on the Sales Allowance.

   6.  Click Correct.
