Updating Sequence Numbers

Sequence numbers are an ordered list of numbers assigned to various records. Use the Update Sequence Number options to modify the next value in the selected sequence.

Note:

Updates to sequence numbers are tracked in the changes log in the Configuration group.

Updating Supporting Documents Sequence

Use this option to update the start/next value for supporting documents when the Supporting Documents OPERA Control is active.

1. From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Document Number Update then select Sequence Numbers.

2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

3. In the search results panel.

   1. Select the sequence type, then enter a start/next value in the New Start Sequence field.

   2. Click Save.

Updating Tax Registration Number Sequence

Use this option to update the Tax Registration Number when the Generate Tax Registration Number OPERA Control is active.

A Tax Registration number is assigned to in house reservations during End of Day by the eod_misc.assign_tax_reg_no procedure.

1. From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Document Number Update then select Sequence Numbers.

2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

3. In the search results panel:

   1. Select the Tax Registration Number sequence type.

   2. Enter a start/next value in the New Start Sequence field.

   3. Click Save.
