Configuring Block Cancellation Reasons
A cancellation reason is required when you change the status of a block or events to Canceled. Cancellation reasons is global configuration shared by all properties in multi-property operations.
Adding Block Cancellation Reasons

From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Block Management, and then select Cancellation Reasons.

Click New and complete the following fields:

Code: Enter a code for reservations that are canceled (for example, WEATHER or FLIGHT).

Description: Enter a description that clarifies a canceled reservation code (for example, weather conditions, flight cancellation, and so on).

Display Seq.: Enter a number that controls the position of the code in listings. Codes not assigned a sequence number are listed in alphabetical order following codes with an assigned sequence.

Click Save or click Save and Continue to add another cancellation reason.

Editing Block Cancellation Reasons
Note:
Click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Show Inactive to include inactive records.-
From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Block Management, and then select Cancellation Reasons.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

Select the cancellation reason in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select Edit.

Update the configuration.

Inactive: Select check box to mark the code inactive.

Click Save.

Deleting Block Cancellation Reasons

From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Block Management, and then select Cancellation Reasons.

Enter search criteria and click Search.

In the search results, select the code, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select Delete.

Click Delete to confirm.
