Configuring Transaction Code Protection (Ownership)

Prerequisites for Transaction Code Protection.

Transaction Code Protection enables you to configure a transaction code for Property Ownership or Central Ownership. This feature is useful for a property that would like to limit what values can be changed on transaction codes as well as which users are allowed to make those changes.

The Transaction Code Protection screen shows the fields and check boxes configured for Property and/or Central Ownership.

Editing Transaction Code Protection

1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Transaction Management, and then select Transaction Code Protection.

2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

3. Click Edit, then in Transaction Code Ownership.

   1. Select check boxes under the Property column for property ownership.

   2. Select check boxes under Central column for central ownership. NOTE: You can also select check boxes for both Property and Central for each transaction code.

   3. Click Save.
