Data Request

Use Data Request to synchronize data between OPERA Cloud Foundation and OPERA Cloud Central Services / OPERA Room Reservation Cloud Service; with the synchronization initiated from the solution receiving the data. Data Request differs to an interface resynch in that the data is synchronized as a "pull" rather than a "push".

For example:  An "XYZ" Market Code is observed in OXI messages but the code does not exist in the OPERA Room Reservations configuration. Selecting to synchronize Configuration for the Item Type = MARKET CODE and Level = SPECIFIC and entering the text "XYZ" , a message is sent to OPERA Cloud Foundation requesting that specific data. A message is returned from OPERA Cloud Foundation containing the Market Group and Market Code information; which is populated to the Market Code Template and property-level Market Code configuration.

Note:

It is not recommended to select all displayed items in the list, instead use Level = ALL. To request a large number of specific items, it is recommend to reduce selection to multiple smaller groupings. 

Requesting Synchronize Data

1. From the Exchange menu, select Interface Setup, and then select Data Request.

2. Property: Select a property from the list.

3. Interface: Select an external system from the list.

4. Data Request Module to Synchronize

   1. Reservations: Select check box to synchronize reservations.

      1. Arrival: Enter an arrival date range.

      2. Stay: Enter a stay date range.

      3. Created: Enter a creation date range.

      4. From Date: Enter a start date.

      5. To Date: Enter an end date.

   2. Blocks: Select check box to synchronize blocks.

      1. Begin (Start): Enter a start date range.

      2. Stay: Enter a stay date range.

      3. Created: Enter a creation date range.

      4. From Date: Enter a start date.

      5. To Date: Enter an end date.

   3. Rates: Select check box to synchronize rates.

      1. From Date: Enter a start date.

      2. To Date: Enter an end date.

   4. Packages: Select check box to synchronize packages.

      1. From Date: Enter a start date.

      2. To Date. Enter an end date.

   5. Profiles: Select check box to synchronize profiles.

      1. From Date: Enter a start date.

      2. To Date: Enter an end date.

   6. Configuration: Select check box to synchronize configuration.

      1. Item: Select a configuration item from the list.

      2. Level: Select a level from the list.

      3. Items: Select items from the list.

   7. Inventory Items: Select check box to synchronize inventory items.

      1. From Date: Enter a start date.

      2. To Date: Enter an end date.

5. Click Synchronize.
