Configuring Property Details

When the Multi Property OPERA Control is active, new Property Details are created by selecting the Template tab. Once created, you can copy Property Details to specific properties using the Copy action. For more information, see Copying Configuration Codes to Multiple Properties. Select the Verified check box to require property detail values to be selected from a list defined in the template; else any value can be entered when adding property detail values to a property.

Adding Property Details

1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Property Details.

2. Click New and complete the following

   1. Code: Enter a code for the Property Detail.

   2. Category: Select the Property Details Category from the list. For more information, see Configuring Property Detail Categories.

   3. Data Type: Select a data type from the list

   4. Sequence: Enter a display sequence.

   5. Verified: Select check box to enforce selection from a list when adding property detail values to properties.

   6. Description: Enter a description for the property detail

   7. Click Save.

Editing Property Details

1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Property Details.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the property details, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

4. Update the configuration.

5. Click Save.

Deleting Property Details

1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Property Details.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the property details, hen click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

4. Click Delete to confirm.

Adding Property Detail Values

Note:

When the Verified check box is selected for the Property Details record, property detail values must be selected from the records defined in the template; else any value can be entered when adding property detail values for a property.

1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Property Details.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the property details, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

4. Click New and complete the following:

   1. Code: Enter a code for the property detail value.

   2. Description: Enter a description for the property detail value (maximum 2000 bytes).

   3. Sequence: Enter a display sequence.

   4. Click Save.

Editing Property Detail Values

1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Property Details.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the property details, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

   1. Update the property details values.
   2. Click Save.

Deleting Property Detail Values

1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Property Details.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the property details, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

   1. Select the property details value, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

   2. Click Delete to confirm.
   3. Click Save.
