Configuring Package Categories

Package Codes can be associated with a package category to group similar codes together. For example, the package codes BF1 and BF2 can be grouped as Breakfast Package Category.

Adding Package Categories

1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Package Categories.
2. Click New and enter the following details:
   1. Property: Enter or select the property.
   2. Code: Enter a code for the package category.
   3. Description: Enter a description for the package category.
   4. Begin Date: Enter a begin date.
   5. End Date: Enter an end date.
   6. Sequence: Enter a display sequence.
   7. Click Save.

Editing Package Categories

1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Package Categories.
2. Enter search criteria, click Search.
3. From search results, select the package category, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.
4. Update the configuration.
5. Click Save.

Deleting Package Categories

1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select Package Categories.
2. Enter search criteria, click Search.
3. From search results, select the package category, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.
4. Click Delete to confirm.
