Prerequisites for Processing Credit Card Retokenization

A bulk credit card retokenization process is to support secure transitions when your property moves from one Payment Service Provider (PSP) to another. This functionality also covers migration from properties using non-tokenized OPI-issued tokens to properties needing new payment service provider (PSP)-issued tokens.

Important:

Prior to starting the retokenization process, ensure all financial transactions with the former payment service provider (PSP) are fully settled before configuring a new payment service provider (PSP). Deactivate the existing EFT interface and configure a new interface for the new payment service provider (PSP), making sure a new vault ID is used; otherwise, the retokenization process will not process any records.

1. From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Data Management, and then select Credit Card Retokenization.

2. Property: Enter or select the property.

3. Click Start Retokenization.
